Sargento Leadership Shake-Up Includes Amy Ehlen as New VP of Pricing & Demand Planning

Cheese producer Sargento is continuing its leadership shakeup after naming a new COO last month. Now the company has named Amy Ehlen as its new VP of pricing and demand planning, along with several other appointments. 

Ehlen has been promoted to lead a cross-functional team focused on elevating short- and long-term demand planning and pricing. She joined the company in 2012 as a trade planning analyst and during her tenure has introduced new efficiencies in customer and demand planning. 

Ehlen and her team will report to CFO Jeremy Behler.

Also, Erin Price has been promoted to general manager of consumer products, which oversees brand marketing, integrated marketing communications, and omnichannel and consumer insights. She will be tasked with driving success across P&L. 

Price was previously the company’s SVP of marketing and has been with Sargento for 17 years. During that time, she launched the company’s e-commerce strategy and its first integrated marketing communications department.

More Leadership Shifts

The company has been in a period of leadership transition following the retirement of two executives: EVP of operations Mike McEvoy and EVP of innovation Kristi Jankowski. As part of these efforts, Sargento also announced several other leadership changes:

Jeremy Schellin: Named general manager, food service and ingredients,Schellin will oversee marketing, innovation, and sales within the company’s food, service, and ingredients business unit. He was previously VP of strategic planning. 

Rod Hogan: Now SVP of innovation, Hogan is taking on an expanded role that will oversee research and development to drive brand innovation. He replaces Kristi Jankowski, who has retired from the company. 

Chris McCarthy: Returns as VP of strategic planning after gaining a foundation in food, service, and ingredients. He will work with the leadership and executive teams to drive progress in Sargento’s food vision. 

Chris Regennitter: Named SVP of Sargento Sales, Regennitter will oversee all sales strategies in this expanded role.  

Brian Ginn: Promoted to VP, consumer products sales, Ginn will lead and manage over 50% of the consumer products customer account portfolio.

Joy Judski: As VP of food service and ingredients sales, Judski will be tasked with strengthening relationships with Sargento customers.
