Conair is bolstering its e-commerce strategy by tapping Justin Swenson as its new senior vice president of e-commerce.

Swenson will be tasked with driving digital growth and elevating the consumer experience, tapping into his experience and track record in growing revenue, building innovative digital experiences, and leading large teams, according to the announcement on LinkedIn

Swenson is an experienced e-commerce and retail and CPG executive with a strong background in direct-to-consumer strategies, digital technology, and business development. Over the past decade, he has held leadership roles with companies like Newell Brands and Toys R Us, driving growth and innovation in online and retail spaces.

“After nearly eight incredible years at Newell Brands, I’m thrilled to be joining Conair as SVP of e-commerce. I’m looking forward to building upon the strong foundation across the Conair, Cuisinart, BaByliss, scünci, and Waring brands,” said Swenson on LinkedIn

Building a Team to Drive Digital Growth

This news builds on ongoing digital transformation efforts at Conair. Earlier this year, the company created a chief digital and technology officer role that sits on the leadership team as part of restructuring of the company’s digital, IT, and business support teams. The end goal is to accelerate growth across data analytics and program management. Willi Candra was named to the role.

The effort is led by president and CEO Kristie Juster, who joined in January and also came from Newell.
