Conair is focusing on its digital capabilities, adding Willi Candra to its leadership team as its chief digital and technology officer.

The newly created role follows a restructuring of the company’s digital, IT, and business support teams — consolidated to accelerate growth across data analytics and program management — and on the heels of hiring a new president and CEO, Kristie Juster

Candra joins Conair from Kimball International, a commercial furnishings company, where he led digital transformation efforts as the company’s chief digital and information officer. According to Candra’s LinkedIn, he oversaw digital, IT, analytics, and cybersecurity.

Prior to that, he spent nearly 20 years at Newell Brands, working in several roles focused on IT architecture and emerging technologies.

Per LinkedIn, Candra worked on the Digital Technology e-commerce division at Newell and the Enterprise Enabling Technology business for Newell Global IT. Areas of focus included web and mobile applications, intelligent automation like bots and AI, cloud-based engineering, and enterprise application integration.

“I am excited to welcome a thoughtful leader like Willi to the Conair team,” said Juster. “I am confident that Willi’s leadership, along with our new organizational structure, will bring increased rigor and help accelerate our business at all levels.”
