Kristie Juster will be leading Conair as its new president and CEO.
Juster brings extensive experience in CPG corporate leadership, having spent 22 years with Newell Rubbermaid, where she led the expansion and elevation of the Calphalon brand. She most recently served as CEO of Kimball International.
At Kimball, she was appointed by the board to develop a “New Growth Chapter” for the $750 million omnichannel, multi-branded commercial furnishings portfolio in workplace, health, and hospitality, according to LinkedIn.
“I am tremendously excited to be joining Conair,” said Juster in a statement, adding that many Conair brands are household names and the iconic company has a long history of which she is excited to be part of the next chapter.
She takes on the role on January 8, replacing Ron Diamond, who held the position since 2018 and will now transition to vice chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Diamond has spent a total of 44 years at Conair, helping to evolve the brand from hair dryers and curlers to a global presence that includes personal care and kitchen appliances. He played a key role in acquiring several key brands like Cuisinart and developing manufacturing capabilities in China.
“I feel beyond lucky to have had this career,” said Diamond. “I have been fortunate to team up with great people doing something I am passionate about. Today, we are a thriving family of brands, and it means everything to me that I am able to pass along the baton to Kristie at a time when Conair is stronger than ever.”
