Outdoor footwear and apparel brand Merrell has tapped a new chief marketing officer. Pallav Tamaskar is taking on the role, which oversees the company’s global marketing strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, media planning, brand-purpose programming, and innovative product launches.
He joins Merrell from top Fortune 100 companies and leading CPG manufacturers, including Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo. Pallav has held various marketing roles, including launching category marketing tactics across ESPN’s Masterbrand and college sports portfolio.
He was most recently the EVP and managing director of Myprotein, a sports nutrition brand, where he focused on topline transformation and profitability.

Janice Tennant, global brand president of Merrell, said Tamaskar has a strong track record of growing global brands as an innovative leader and talent builder, driving marketing strategies that accelerate consumer demand creation.
