General Mills' Dana McNabb to Lead Digital, Supply Chain, Growth Teams

General Mills has promoted Dana McNabb, expanding her oversight to include the company's full operating segments beginning on June 1. 

As COO, McNabb will manage functions such as the company's supply chain, digital and technology, innovation, quality and growth strategy teams. Additionally, she will oversee both the international and North America foodservice business areas.

McNabb was previously the leader for General Mills' North America pet and retail segments.

She will join the company's board and continue reporting to CEO Jeff Harmening, who said McNabb's role was elevated for her experience as a "disciplined, strategic leader and results-driven operator." 

"As someone who looks ahead and acts with urgency, Dana has led an initiative to reinvigorate our brands by strengthening their remarkability," Harmening said in a statement. "She is exceptionally well-suited to lead our global operations and restore profitable growth for General Mills and our shareholders.”

McNabb has spent the last several decades working for General Mills, most recently rising in rank from a regional president for the snacks and cereal business to chief strategy and growth officer and ultimately group president for the North America business unit.
