Tom Szaky, TerraCycle founder and CEO, will close out the 2020 Consumer Goods Sales and Marketing Summit, drawing from his deep experience as an entrepreneur and community builder.

The two-day CGSM virtual experience on Dec. 8-9 has packed in workshops, share groups and presentations, all centered around the theme of consumer-obsessed innovation. In addition to ample learning sessions, there will be multiple networking opportunities across both days to dig in deeper into the event’s topics — and connect with old and new friends.

As the founder of a global leader in the collection and repurposing of complex waste streams, Szaky knows a thing or two about the value in consumer goods and retail collaborations. TerraCycle’s Loop circular shopping platform signed Procter & Gamble as its first partner and now includes such companies as Unilever, Mars, Nestle, PepsiCo, Kroger, Walgreens, Loblaw and Carrefour in its ecosystem.

His Dec. 9 keynote, “Strength in Numbers; Tapping into Innovative Partnerships,” will explore the significance of forging meaningful and lasting connections along the consumer journey. As consumers increasingly seek to make purchases that are purposeful, CG brands and retailers need to work closely together so they can properly meet this demand.

Leveraging technology to break down these silos can be an important component in developing stronger and longer-lasting bonds between brands and retailers. If every major undertaking takes a village, don’t miss Szaky’s keynote on the ROI of coming together.
