Outdoor living company Solo Brands has appointed Michael McGoohan to the newly created position of chief growth officer and executive VP.
The self-described DTC outdoor living brand platform has a variety of names under its umbrella, including Solo Stove, Chubbies, Oru Kayak, Isle, and Icy Breeze. Solo Brands offers products like firepits, stoves, casual clothes, activewear, kayaks, and paddle boards through an omnichannel model including e-commerce, wholesale relationships, and retail stores.

His experience also includes leading marketing and strategy roles at Performance Health and Mondelez International, as well as serving as a consultant and project leader for the Boston Consulting Group specializing in consumer goods, marketing, and strategy.

At the same time, the company also tapped former Vitamin Shoppe and KPMG exec, Laura Coffey, as its new chief financial officer.
