Dole Packaged Foods recently named a new vice president of marketing, Americas, hiring Mike Secor for the role after Nora Witt retired in November of 2024.
In the role, Secor is tasked with shaping and executing the company’s marketing strategy for the U.S. business and product portfolio to drive growth and innovation. As part of this, Secor will work closely with the product development, innovation, sales, and finance teams, according to his LinkedIn.
Key areas of focus include leading commercialization efforts for new products, building launch plans, enhancing brand awareness, strengthing customer and consumer engagement, and setting a three-year strategic roadmap for sustained growth.
He joins the U.S. leadership team, reporting to Dole’s president.

Secor’s Background
Secor joined Dole from produce and prepared foods brand Bonduelle Fresh Americas, where he served as chief marketing officer. In that role, he oversaw teams across marketing, R&D, culinary, consumer insights, and project management and helped to restructure portfolios to align with evolving market trends and a renewed consumer-centric approach.
Prior to that, he was the VP of marketing for frozen Mexican food company Ruiz Foods and senior marketing manager for General Mills, where he led global innovation for the Nestle cereal business as part of Cereal Partners Worldwide, a global joint venture between Nestle and General Mills.
