Bombas Amplifies Pride Campaign to Reach 1 Million-Plus People

By CGT Staff - 06/24/2020

DTC apparel brand Bombas is collaborating with discovery solutions provider Taboola for a campaign celebrating Pride Month while simultaneously supporting those experiencing homelessness.

Bombas’ 2020 Pride collection features limited-edition socks that are designed to be inspired by the bright and diverse LGBTQ+ community. This is the first year the line also includes colors inspired by the bisexual and transgender flags.

As socks are the most requested clothing items in homeless shelters across the U.S., Bombas will donate a pair for every Pride sock purchased to someone in need within the LGBTQ+ community through The Ally Coalition.

Lauren DiGregoria, Bomboas director of acquisition, said Bombas has worked with Taboola for several years, and its platform has helped the company reach a wider audience with both its Pride message and its mission to help those experiencing homelessness.  “Our Pride collections continue to celebrate both individuality and community,” she said. “Every member of the LGBTQ+ community deserves love, compassion and comfort and we are committed to spreading that message widely during Pride and beyond.”

Since the launch of the campaign in late May 2020 across desktop and mobile, Taboola has helped Bombas reach more than 1 million people and drive tens of thousands of people to Bombas’ landing page. Though the companies have collaborated in the past, this is the first year Bombas has chosen Taboola to amplify its Pride campaign, and it’s already seeing over 10% of its conversions come from this campaign alone with a strong CTR.

Taboola is helping drive almost 20% of traffic to the initiative, including visitors to the brand’s Pride page as well as listicle format.
