Wolverine World Wide Centralizes Merrell & Saucony Product Development With Headquarters Redesign
Wolverine World Wide has renovated its global headquarters as part of efforts to centralize its core business operations.
The 40,000 square-foot, modernized facility, known as “The Factory,” is located in Rockford, Michigan. The transformation brings together the company’s two largest brands, Merrell and Saucony, the latter of which was recently relocated from Boston.

The upgraded space features 224 functional workstations, including dedicated product design, development and marketing rooms for each brand with state-of-the-art tech, spaces to meet and collaborate, and a cafe.
Wolverine’s headquarters were originally built in 1963 and served as a footwear factory before it transitioned to office space in the ‘90s. It is used to advance team and culture development and create opportunities for innovation and collaboration.
Chris Hufnagel, president and CEO of Wolverine Worldwide, said the investment sets up team members to create trend-right, innovative products and experiences that improve consumers’ lives and drive growth.
