Welch's to Expedite Product Innovation With Andrew Hartshorn at Helm of Innovation Strategy
Welch's has named Andrew Hartshorn as chief brand and innovation officer, a newly created role that will oversee the company's combined brand development and product, pack and process innovation teams.
The new structure aims to streamline collaboration, speed up decision-making and strengthen the product and experience pipelines.
Hartshorn will be tasked with expediting product innovation and go-to-market strategies, driving deeper relationship building with consumers and introducing more agile operations, according to president and CEO Cees Talma.

Hartshorn has more than 25 years of experience driving innovation across global food and beverage businesses. He previously held senior leadership roles at PepsiCo, Danone and Nature's Way.
Most recently, he served as the Nature's Way chief marketing officer, according to LinkedIn. In that role, he helped redefine the company's e-commerce strategy and drove DTC and Amazon growth through content optimization. Prior to that, he was the SVP for Danone's beverages business, overseeing such brands as Evian, Stok Cold Brew Coffee and International Delight Iced Coffee.
At PepsiCo, he held a variety of positions across marketing and operations, including VP and CMO for Gatorade and Propel in the U.S. In that role, he helped launch G Zero and also led the expansion of the business's design and digital ecosystem.
