Nissin Foods USA, which manufactures a variety of Asian-inspired products, including Cup Noodles, Top Ramen and Cup Noodles Stir Fry, will integrate AI and machine learning to optimize its supply chain operations

The company will use Highspring’s supply chain-as-a-service offering and embed Blue Yonder's demand and supply chain planning capabilities as it moves away from legacy planning tools to a fully integrated, AI-enabled supply chain platform.

Nissin Foods aims to streamline inventory management, improve forecasting accuracy and reduce operational costs.

As part of this, it is replacing manual processes with automations that use AI and ML to improve forecast accuracy, reduce working capital and build supply chain resiliency. This will provide the company's finance and operations teams with increased flexibility through real-time insights.

Yukio Yokoyama, president and CEO of Nissin Foods, said the integration will empower the company with enhanced visibility, agility and collaboration across its supply chain, finance and operations teams.

"By leveraging advanced planning capabilities, we will be able to make smarter decisions, respond more quickly to market changes and operate more efficiently across our business," Yokoyama said in a statement.

"Just as importantly, this transformation will strengthen our partnerships with customers by helping us better serve their needs, anticipate changing demand and adapt to evolving consumer preferences, ensuring we continue to deliver the quality, reliability and value they expect from Nissin Foods," he added.
