Kimberly-Clark Partners With Disney on Pull-Ups App
Kimberly-Clark is bringing digital engagement to its Pull-Ups diaper brand via a new potty training app.
“Potty With Pull-Ups” engages users with content featuring intellectual properties from Disney Jr., such as Mickey Mouse, to help parents navigate the potty training process with their children.
The app includes a potty training readiness quiz so parents can assess whether it’s time to begin the training journey. Additionally, they get access to a plan with seven milestones, along with a tracker so they can log accidents, attempts and successes.
The technology uses a built-in algorithm to provide parents with real-time insights on their child’s progress and suggest appropriate next steps.
Other capabilities include custom reminders and notifications, and supportive content for any setbacks.

The company built the app by tapping into more than 35 years of research on the topic. It surveyed 131 early app users, 80% of whom said the technology will help motivate their child to potty train.
Aaron Gretebeck, Kimberly-Clark's North American vice president of Pull-Ups, said in a statement that with the launch of the "Potty With Pull-Ups ft. Disney Jr." app, the company is bringing its potty training know-how into the digital world.
The Experience
The app gets kids engaged with a musical theme. Once logged on, they will be able to choose Mickey Mouse or Minnie Mouse as their band leader, and as they reach milestones, they can unlock new instruments and characters to build a larger band. If all milestones are completed, kids can engage in an in-app graduation concert.
The app is available for free download in the U.S. on the App Store or Google Play Store. Those who download the app can enter for a chance to win a grand prize trip to a special event celebrating “big kid confidence” at Disneyland Hotel on June 23.
