Andrew Zrike, Karena Breslin, John Kester Among Slew Of Constellation Brands Leadership Changes

Constellation Brands made a series of leadership changes that include new roles for consumer insights and a new supply chain chief, among others. 

Andrew Zrike has been appointed SVP, innovation and consumer insights — a new role — for the company’s beer and wine and spirits businesses. He’s tasked with developing integrated brand growth plans surrounding consumer preferences and trends. 

Zrike joined Constellation in 2019 and has helped lead the development of such product innovations as Modelo Oro, Modelo Aguas Frescas, and Corona Non-Alcoholic.

Karena Breslin has expanded her responsibilities and taken the role of SVP, digital, transformation and media. She will lead Constellation’s transformation and digital business acceleration efforts, in addition to her current digital, media and marketing technology responsibilities. 

Breslin joined Constellation in 2010 and has increasingly taken on roles with greater responsibility to  establish Constellation’s digital marketing function and accelerate its e-commerce capabilities.

John Kester has been named SVP, chief supply chain officer, beer. He will lead Constellation’s integrated end-to-end supply chain organization. 

Kester joined Constellation in 2014 and brings over 30 years of beer industry experience across supply chain operations, according to Constellation. 

These new roles are among a larger slew of leadership changes at Constellation Brands, which includes such brands as Corona, Modelo, and The Prisoner Wine Company, in its portfolio. Other changes include:

Mallika Monteiro now has responsibility for beer marketing while continuing to lead innovation, consumer insights, and digital functions as EVP, chief growth and digital officer and managing director, beer brands. 

Matt Lindsay has been named SVP, CMO of the beer division, a new role. He will lead the beer marketing functions including brand marketing; field, lifestyle and experiential marketing; trade marketing; and marketing enablement.

Greg Gallagher, formerly VP, brand marketing, has been named SVP, brand marketing, assuming responsibility for all brand marketing efforts related to Constellation’s beer portfolio. 

Rene Ramos has been appointed SVP, brand activation with responsibility for field, lifestyle and experiential marketing, and trade marketing. 

Mike McGrew has assumed expanded responsibilities for corporate strategy and analytics, in addition to leading the company’s communications, ESG and diversity efforts as EVP, chief communications, strategy, ESG and diversity officer.
