Stanley 1913, a drinkware manufacturer for PMI Worldwide brand Stanley, is strengthening its supply chain through AI and ML technology that will allow it to quickly get ahead of potential roadblocks.

Through the technology, Stanley will be able to identify potential challenges and their impact on the supply chain, elevating decision-making to mitigate risks and overcome issues.

Karthik Sivakumar, VP of supply chain and operations at Stanley 1913, said the company is now able to tap into advanced predictive analytics using machine learning and artificial intelligence to increase supply chain visibility and enable smarter scenario planning.

New Efficiencies for a High-Demand Supply Chain

Increased demand in Stanley products is likely a contributing factor in seeking out a new supply chain platform.

Stanley products, primarily its tumblers, surged in popularity in the early 2020s. Its Quenchers tumblers repeatedly sold out and stores had to limit purchase quantities.

Stanley's annual sales in 2023 were upwards of $750 million, according to CNBC. Revenue increased from $73 million in 2019 to $94 million in 2020 — and more than doubled to $194 million in 2021.

In 2022, Stanley was named the fastest-growing equipment accessories brand in the U.S. outdoor specialty market by the NPD Group (now known as Circana).
