Modere has tapped Guy Thier as its new chief information officer, effective Oct. 30.
Thier will be responsible for enhancing Modere’s e-commerce and digital transaction platforms. The direct-to-consumer brand offers a range of wellness products, including household cleaning items, skincare, and hair care products.
Thier has more than 25 years of experience in IT and digital marketing, having most recently served as CIO and interim global chief marketing officer at aesthetic tech company, Cutera.
Before joining Cutera, Thier served as CIO and later took on the roles of chief digital officer and chief operations officer at both Arbonne International and Bally Total Fitness. During his Arbonne tenure, Thier was instrumental in bolstering the company’s e-commerce website as well as building out resilient backend processes to facilitate global expansion.
“I am thrilled to join Modere as CIO to continue enhancing its e-commerce and digital capabilities to drive growth,” said Thier. “At the forefront of providing clean and effective health and wellness products and with many compelling opportunities ahead, Modere is well-positioned to grow its global community, deliver an even better omnichannel experience for customers, and take the business to the next level.”
Modere is part of Z Capital Partners' portfolio, which recently recruited former Arbonne International CEO, Katherine Zanotti, to its board of directors.
