Chobani is looking to drive marketing-led growth and has hired a new CMO to lead efforts. Jai Kibe takes on the role of overseeing marketing and creative direction for the Chobani and La Colombe brands.
Kibe will focus on the company’s growth segments, tapping into advanced analytics and consumer insights to foster digital-first consumer engagement. He will also oversee marketing activations and partnerships.

Kibe brings over 23 years of experience across several global companies, including Gartner, SC Johnson, and The Coca-Cola Company.
At SC Johnson, Kibe served as SVP and CMO for the company’s global consumer brands. He led omnichannel marketing, consumer insights and analytics, and digital transformation efforts, according to his LinkedIn, introducing in-house data and analytics capabilities to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing mix.
Additionally, as the VP of marketing for Coca-Cola’s North America business, he helped transform their engagement model by incorporating social and digital, experiential marketing, and product innovation targeted to three consumer segments.
He will report to president and COO Kevin Burns, who said Kibe was hired for his reputation for “inspiring creativity, energizing brands, and bringing a disciplined, metrics-based approach to strategy.”
