Apparel manufacturer Hanesbrands is relocating its corporate offices to the downtown area of Winston-Salem in North Carolina.

The move away from Oak Summit in early 2025 is part of the company’s larger goals to simplify and streamline its business operations, strengthening its operating model with a location that better promotes collaboration and innovation.

As part of this initiative, the company has been working on a digital transformation that will accelerate time to market and increase long-term profitability. Just last month, the company detailed an expanded partnership with Wipro to upgrade its product lifecycle capabilities by investing in application management, cybersecurity, intelligent automation, and AI.

The enterprise-wide digital transformation has so far included supply chain automation, elevated payment architectures, a new ERP and trade promotion strategies, and more.

CEO Steve Bratspies reminisced about the company’s more than 120-year presence at the location but said the new HQ will provide opportunities for connectivity among associates.

“I want to thank Winston-Salem and Forsyth County leadership for their support as we begin to write a new chapter in our rich heritage, as well as our associates who are dedicated to our community and the success of our iconic brands,” he said.

HanesBrands includes several nationally recognized brands, including Hanes, Maidenform, and Bali. The company employs 48,000 associates across 30 countries.
