General Mills Expands Jaime Montemayor's Role to Include Transformation
General Mills has expanded the role of Jaime Montemayor, naming him chief digital, technology and transformation officer.
In addition to overseeing the company's IT, digital, data and analytics, and cybersecurity functions, Montemayor now also leads the transformation office and global shared services organization, according to a post on LinkedIn.
Together, these functions drive General Mills’ digital evolution, stated Montemayor, "empowering the company to use technology and data to create new possibilities and enhance efficiency."
"Since joining General Mills, I’ve had the privilege to lead our digital transformation, working cross-functionally to develop industry-leading capabilities that are truly driving value for the business," he said. "I’m excited to work with an expanded team to accelerate our ability to innovate, unlock efficiencies and ultimately drive growth for General Mills."

The move signals General Mills' continued commitment to a digital transformation runway it launched in 2020 that now includes end-to-end integrations with agentic layers and cloud-based capabilities.
Montemayor has been at the helm of this transformation, overseeing myriad experimental use cases — such as digital personas and visual prototype "growth labs" — with more investments expected in the company's new James Ford Bell building, which recently increased its available pilot plant capacity by nearly 25%.
