Building meaningful, long-term, mutually-beneficial relationships with consumers is the heart and soul of the CG industry, serving as the catalyst for both tech innovation and strategic investment.

In the closing keynote at the Consumer Goods Sales and Marketing Summit, held Dec. 8-9, a panel of engagement experts from small and medium-sized businesses will shine the light on how they’re embedding consumer obsession throughout their entire organization.

By doing so, these companies have unlocked their ability to lead from the front with innovative sales and marketing strategies.

Alarice Rajagopal, CGT senior editor, will moderate “Consumer-Obsessed SMBs,” joined by Ekta Chopra, e.l.f. Beauty chief digital officer; Joel Warady, Catalina Snacks president; and Dan Klein, Tiesta Tea CEO.

Chopra, who’s been with e.l.f since 2016, brings over 20 years of technology experience from private equity and retail companies, including Charming Charlie. She’s currently responsible for digital transformation at e.l.f., including e-commerce, engineering, data ecosystem, enterprise applications, security and consumer technologies. She is also actively involved with leading efforts to grow its global digital footprint.

As president of Catalina Snacks, Warady heads a leading brand in the Keto-friendly snack category. He also serves as a strategic advisor to a number of emerging and established brands. Prior to this, Warady was the general manager (CEO) of Enjoy Life Foods, and he was part of the two-person management team that successfully negotiated an acquisition of Enjoy Life Foods by Mondelez International in 2015.

Klein is CEO and co-founder of Tiesta Tea, which was started with the mission of creating premium tea products “that taste good and do good.” The company’s products can be found in in several thousand retail stores, including Costco, Kroger, Safeway, Albertsons, HEB, Amazon and Target.

“Consumer-Obsessed SMBs” will take place at 2:45pm ET on Wednesday, Dec. 9.
