Coca-Cola Names Henrique Braun EVP & COO

No. 10 consumer goods company for 2024 The Coca-Cola Company has named an executive vice president and chief operating officer to oversee all of the company’s operating units. Henrique Braun has been promoted and will be taking on the role on January 1. 

He is currently the company’s EVP and president of international development and oversees operating units in Latin America; Japan and South Korea; ASEAN and South Pacific; Greater China and Mongolia; Africa; India and Southwest Asia; and Eurasia and the Middle East. In the expanded role, he adds oversight of the company’s North American and European businesses. 

Braun will report to CEO James Quincey who said the company selected Braun for his impressive track record driving the company’s growth strategy and various operational accomplishments while keeping the consumer at the center of decisions.

“He has proven to be a trusted, strategic leader with a reputation for developing talent and delivering results,” said Quincey.

Braun’s Legacy at Coca-Cola

Braun has dedicated nearly three decades to Coca-Cola, joining in 1996 and previously serving as its president of Latin America from 2020 to 2022 and president of its Brazil business from 2016 to 2020. He served as president of Coca-Cola’s Greater China and Korea business from 2013 to 2016.

In these roles, he worked across supply chain, new business development, marketing, innovation, general management, and bottling operations

  • Sanket Ray, president, India & Southwest Asia 
  • Sedef Salingan Sahin, president, Eurasia and Middle East
