Household cleaning product manufacturer Jelmar has named Rafael Ortiz as chief technology officer and Jaci Volles as chief marketing and strategy officer.

Ortiz will oversee R&D and drive innovation and supply chain operations for the company, which manufactures the Calcium, Lime, Rust (CLR) line of cleaning brands. He was promoted from director of research and development.

Ortiz brings a background of over 20 years at Procter & Gamble, where he managed global R&D. He's worked across various roles and companies overseeing product portfolios, sustainable product development and commercialization, cost optimization, intellectual property strategy, and supplier management.

Volles will drive marketing and business strategy, overseeing product development programs for Jelmar. She has worked in merchandising and marketing with B2B, B2C, and D2C businesses with companies like Newell Brands, The Oneida Group, Home Products International, and Lifetime Brands. She was previously in a consulting role with Jelmar.

Both Volles and Ortiz will report to Jeffrey Pozen, president and COO of Jelmar.

"We're excited to see Jaci and Rafael step into these new roles," said Pozen. "I'm confident they will both continue to provide forward-thinking approaches that will improve strategic operations and achieve long-term growth for the company."
