The Campbell's Company has a new leader who will oversee its digital transformation strategy.

Aaron Gwinner takes on the role of SVP, chief digital and technology officer. He will be tasked with using innovative technologies that will strengthen the company’s capabilities and accelerate growth, overseeing the overall digital and IT strategy and execution.

Gwinner joins the company from Reynolds American, where he was SVP and chief information officer (CIO) since 2019. In that role, he used people, data, and technology strategies to drive transformation and growth.

In 2022, he was named CGT’s CIO of the Year, recognized for his positive impact on the company, driving transformation, and helping develop a strong culture. At the time, he led a team of 400 internal and external IT professionals who touched every area of the business, particularly technology, but with IT as a holistic function rather than siloed.

A Cross-Functional Approach to Transformation

He takes on the role April 14 and will report to Dan Poland, EVP and chief enterprise transformation officer.

Poland was promoted to the newly created role last year as part of efforts to create a new cross-functional enterprise transformation office that touches supply chain, digital transformation, integrated business planning, the innovation process, food safety and quality, and sustainability.

“Throughout a 30-year career, Aaron has a track record of driving substantial growth through advanced analytics and developing cutting-edge digital strategies,” said Poland in a statement, adding that Gwinner’s experience in driving digital transformation, and his style for collaborative leadership, will improve the company’s ways of working.
