Beam Suntory has named Hernán Tabah its new SVP and Chief Digital & Technology Officer
Beam Suntory has appointed Hernán Tabah as its SVP and chief digital and technology officer.
Reporting directly to the company’s president and CEO, in this newly created role, Tabah will be tasked with spearheading the advancement of the company's digital, data, and end-to-end technology strategy.
Greg Hughes, Beam Suntory’s incoming president, described Tabah as the “perfect fit” to execute the company’s goal to “bring together our IT, digital strategy, delivery, and experience teams under one leader.”

Tabah joins Beam Suntory from Altria, where he served as the senior VP and chief digital & technology officer for two and a half year.s Prior to Altria, Tabah held various digital and information technology leadership positions at Mondelēz and spent over a decade working at British American Tobacco in a number of IT and digital marketing roles.
Tabah was recognized for his accomplishments in 2022, receiving a CGT Visionary award. In accepting the award, Tabah outlined how, during his time at Altria, he had aligned the business around a clear vision of the future to optimize digital strategy across key domains impacting supply chain and consumer engagement. Tabah also created the company’s first digital strategy for the company and introduced its first digital trade program across the U.S.
