Cleaning products company Tru Earth is investing in its supply chain efficiency, investing in forecasting and replenishment capabilities to elevate operations.
The organization is working with Relex Solutions and London Consulting Group to tap a sales and operations planning platform that optimizes efforts in its distribution centers across North America, Europe, and Australia. Its work in inventory management will help the company improve its cost efficiency and product availability.
Additionally, by consolidating planning and increasing operational coordination, the company has been able to reduce inconsistencies related to inventory, ensuring that even items with typically long lead times are readily available.
Darren Gross, chief supply chain officer at Tru Earth, said the company needed to have the right tools in the right place as it looks to scale growth, and that required careful consideration of tech that aligns with a commitment to sustainable operations.
Gartner recently explored upcoming supply chain trends, identifying that end-to-end sustainability across supply chain operations will be key, particularly as sustainability moves from being a voluntary effort to government-mandated.
Global household cleaning product company True Earth serves 82 countries and is looking to reduce single-use products and short-lived plastics by leveraging sustainable cleaning products.
