Schuman Cheese, Syke Farms Partner for Distribution Deal
Schuman Cheese, which produces brands such as Cello, Delve and Bella Rosa in North America, is expanding its portfolio with exclusive supplier rights for Syke Farms and its sub-brands.
This is part of Schuman's strategic effort to grow its premium and imported business with heritage brands.
Wyke Farms is an independent, U.K.-based cheese producer that makes brands such as Ivy's Reserve, as well as British cheddars and butter in the U.S. market.
The partnership allows Wyke Farms to tap into a larger distribution network and advanced marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
"Schuman has a long history of building brands with purpose and longevity in the U.S. market," Ian Schuman, EVP of international business development at Schuman Cheese, said in a statement. "Wyke and Ivy's Reserve bring exceptional quality, provenance and sustainability credentials to our portfolio, while offering a distinct British cheddar profile that expands choice for both retailers and consumers."
