Sargento Announces Key Leadership Appointments in IT, Strategic Planning

Sargento, the family-owned cheese company, has announced new additions to its IT and strategic planning teams, strengthening its goal to scale growth in the food industry while advancing the company’s digital transformation.

Dan Vogtman was appointed VP of information technology, overseeing the company's global IT strategy and operations. 

As a proven IT leader with experience supporting global operations in the manufacturing and consumer goods sectors, he brings expertise in enterprise applications, cybersecurity, analytics and AI to enhance digital security resilience and optimize business processes.

Before joining Sargento, he managed a team of 55 business leaders, analysts and technologists as IT manager at Land O’Lakes, and most recently spent over seven years with Medtronic in its IT department, according to LinkedIn

In his most recent role as senior director of global IT, he was the chief author of a multi-year global systems commercial technology roadmap and led AI projects, such as one with ContractGPT.

Emily Davis was appointed VP of strategic planning, where she will work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop the company’s long-term strategic plan.

With over 15 years of industry experience and a proven record of driving profitable growth and developing consumer-focused strategies for multi-billion-dollar brands, Davis will lead efforts to identify new growth opportunities, enhance portfolio performance and align key initiatives with the company’s vision and priorities.
