Nestlé’s Nutrition e-Comm Push Is Next Phase of GLP-1 Consumer Capture
Nestlé has made it clear it’s looking to cater to consumers undergoing GLP-1 treatment, first with a specialty food line targeting these shoppers, and now with a dedicated web platform — www.glp-1nutrition.com — that will function as a resource center for individuals on a weight management journey.
Nestlé Health Science, a globally managed unit within Nestlé, is behind this latest push, which looks to offer a portfolio of “science-based consumer health, medical nutrition, pharmaceutical therapies, and supplement products across the spectrum of life span and health span.”
The hub includes a curated page of products bundled together by function, including hydration, hunger management, hair and skin health, and more. According to Nestlé, these categories pertain to needs related to GLP-1 therapy, including supporting gut health, preserving lean muscle mass, and getting enough micronutrients.
Visitors also gain access to a community platform where they can share their experiences and engage in personalized nutrition conversations with experts through Nutrition Coach.
Nestlé’s GLP-1 Efforts
Although Nestlé new Vital Pursuit brand isn’t currently on the site, the company said this initiative aligns with the company’s overall “Good Food, Good Life” mission and Nestlé USA's recent launch of the portion-controlled meals.
