Innersense Organic Beauty aims to provide salon-quality, clean hair care products with minimal environmental impact.
Clean beauty brand Innersense Organic Beauty is introducing a new packaging innovation for green-minded consumers, joining the litany of consumer goods companies providing more sustainable alternatives.
The brand has expanded its line to include 32-ounce pouches for Hairbaths and Conditioners, with each pouch using 70% less plastic than the current 32-ounce lnnersense Organic Beauty bottle and 75% less plastic than three 10-ounce bottles.
Innersense Organic Beauty aims to provide salon-quality, clean hair care products with minimal environmental impact. All of its bottles are made with 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, and its new refill pouches can be used to refill any existing Hairbath or Conditioner bottle, with one pouch filling three 10-ounce bottles or one full 32-ounce bottle.
The pouches also require less material than rigid containers, resulting in less waste and water used during manufacturing, as well as lower emissions.
"Sustainability is one of the key pillars of our brand and we are always looking for innovative solutions that align clean beauty and a clean planet," said Greg Starkman, Innersense Organic Beauty founder. "We are excited to launch our refill pouches that make it easier for our customers to cut back on plastic by reusing and refilling their hair care bottles at home. This is one more step forward on a journey toward a more circular packaging future. We continue to look for even more sustainable packaging options that support our goals of reducing plastic waste while lowering our carbon footprint."
The plan to net zero prioritizes the cutting of most of emissions across its operations and supply chain, from raw material to retailer. For residual emissions in these categories that cannot be eliminated, it will use natural or technical solutions that remove and store carbon.
