Health and wellness company The Hain Celestial Group, home to brands like Terra Chips, Garden Veggie snacks, and Earth’s Best baby foods, has a new president of North America.

Chad Marquardt will be leading the company’s U.S. and Canada strategy and execution — along with the company’s multi-year Hain Reimagined strategic transformation — as its president of North America.

He joins the company from major consumer goods companies like Reckitt — where he drove growth for brands like Enfamil, Clearasil, and Lysol — and Unilever, where he began his career and worked across marketing, customer planning and strategy, category management, shopper marketing, and brand management.

Most recently, Marquardt served as chief customer officer for GPN’s (Glanbia Performance Nutrition) Americas business. In this role, he oversaw commercial delivery of the company’s portfolio of brands in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.

"I'm honored to join Hain at such a pivotal time in its multi-year transformation," said Marquardt, in a statement.

Marquardt joins the executive leadership team and will report to Hain’s president and CEO Wendy Davidson beginning March 25.

"Chad brings to Hain deep strategic experience and expertise across sales, customer development, channel expansion, and omnichannel brand building in the better-for-you consumer packaged goods space," said Davidson. "His proven results building high-performing teams and successfully leading organizations through complex transformation while driving long-term, profitable growth makes him an outstanding addition to the executive leadership team."
