Ferraro Foods Expedites Order and Fulfillment Processes With AI

Italian specialty foods distributor Ferraro Foods is optimizing its ordering processes, using AI to streamline capabilities for more than 8,000 customers across 26 states. 

The company is working with e-commerce company Pepper to launch a mobile app custom-made for Ferraro’s product lineup and distribution network to expedite ordering and fulfillment and elevate customer service

Ferraro customers will gain access to a more user-friendly order interface where they can quickly reorder products, real-time product availability and pricing information, alerts for new products, and improved order history and tracking capabilities. 

The project was initially in beta testing and has now launched companywide.

CEO Dan Hill said the app will help provide a faster and more straightforward ordering experience. “Our customers can expect a seamless mobile experience that’s simple and intuitive, while our sales reps will literally have in their hands a suite of tools to help them become more consultative and responsive to customer needs.”

Ferraro Foods was founded nearly 50 years ago and is headquartered in New Jersey. The company primarily distributes specialty Italian foods and foodservice supplies to pizzerias and Italian restaurants through distribution divisions in Long Island, Connecticut, Maryland, North Carolina, Florida, and Indiana.
