Dr. Praeger’s Taps Alexis Brescia to Lead Supply Chain
Frozen food brand Dr. Praeger’s, a portfolio company of Vestar Capital Partners, has named a new chief supply chain officer. Alexis Brescia joins the company to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy, from procurement and manufacturing to logistics and sustainability.
Brescia joins the company from Europastry, where he served as VP of North America supply chain operations.
Prior to that, he spent over two decades at Mondelez International, working in several roles, including as an operations leader, a director of business development and, most recently, as the director of North America supply chain excellence. There, he was tasked with improving the performance and efficiencies for brands such as Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Ritz Crackers and Honey Maid Graham Crackers, according to LinkedIn.

He has over 25 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, working across several roles in supply chain. Dr. Praeger's CEO Andy Reichgut said Brescia was hired for his impressive track record in manufacturing and logistics leadership.
Brescia said in a statement that he looks to drive profitable growth through operational excellence.
