Deb Hannah of Shoe Carnival and Darrin Samaha of Yesway Join Analytics Unite 2022

Two more leading retail executives have joined the expanding speaker lineup for Analytics Unite!  

Taking place June 21-23 in at the Drake Hotel in Chicago, Analytics Unite: The Summit for Retail and Consumer Brands will convene the brightest minds in retail and consumer goods for three days of learning, networking, and fun. It kicks off with an opening keynote from Nicole Nelson of Best Buy, and the agenda is filling up with even more tech and analytics leaders.

In addition to speakers from Yum Brands, Kellogg’s, Danone, Mondelēz, Kimberly-Clark, and Best Buy all joining to share insight under the theme of Accelerating Growth, Talent, and Innovation, Nandha Kumar, CIO Americas at Danone, and Deb Hannah, SVP of Marketing, Shoe Carnival, will serve as co-chairs for the event.

Deb Hannah is the SVP of Marketing at Shoe Carnival, where she leads the e-commerce business, in addition to CRM, analytics, corporate communications, integrated marketing, store design and creative across the Shoe Carnival and Shoe Station banners. In addition to being this year's Analytics Unite Retail Co-chair, Hannah will join a panel of leading industry experts who will break down the innovative data points enterprises can optimize to tap into meaningful customer loyalty during "Innovative Loyalty: Identify the Data that Creates Obsessed Consumers."

Prior to Shoe Carnival, Deb spent over 20 years in various marketing, merchandising and management roles in consumer packaged goods and retail for companies such as Kellogg, Starbucks and Kimberly-Clark. She has an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Darrin Samaha's current role is Yesway’s VP of Marketing where he is responsible for the creation and growth of the Yesway convenience store brand across all marketing channels. He'll Join Deb on the "Innovative Loyalty: Identify the Data that Creates Obsessed Consumers" panel. 

Darrin's team is responsible for the launch and management of the award winning Yesway Rewards customer loyalty program, the creation and execution of its targeted advertising campaigns, development of the brand’s digital and social media strategy, and oversees all media and community outreach efforts. Additionally, Darrin was part of the strategic acquisition and integration team for the Allsup’s brand into the Yesway umbrella.

Prior to joining Yesway, Darrin was Chief Creative Officer and founder of Blue Coda, a boutique brand and advertising agency where he led the firm’s creative teams on behalf of Home Depot, Virgin, Partners Healthcare and Harvard University. Darrin is a graduate of Tufts University and received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He lives in Boston with his wife and is an avid surfer and snowboarder and has a passion for the arts and music.
