Better-for-you snack brand Catalina Snacks has hired a new leader to oversee the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations, focusing on efficiency and scalability as part of growth efforts.

Elias Aoukar takes on the role of chief supply chain officer, bringing a background in supply chain and operations leadership within the consumer goods industry. He was most recently the COO of baby formula company ByHeart, where he helped enhance operational capabilities and scale production.

Prior to that, he was SVP of supply chain at Kind, a role in which he oversaw supply chain strategy and transformation initiatives, including planning functions, transportation and logistics, network productivity, and customer service, according to LinkedIn. He’s also held similar roles at Danone and Stonyfield Farm.
