Andrew Gibson has been named chief technology officer at supply chain analytics provider AutoScheduler.ai, where he’ll lead the company’s software development efforts.
Most recently chief data scientist at Bench-Metrix, Gibson also spent more than two decades at Nestle as an operational leader in warehousing and transportation and as a data-science leader focused on driving improvements in the supply chain, warehousing, transportation and sales.

His time as a consultant has led him to work consumer goods companies, retailers and solution providers to develop data-science-supported tools, and AutoScheduler.ai pointed to his expertise in mathematics, citing it as the cornerstone of artificial intelligence.
“We realized that at the current rate of market adoption, AutoScheduler.AI needed to bring in a leader who could help us expand our platform more quickly,” said Keith Moore, chief product officer of AutoScheduler.ai, in a statement. “We needed somebody with deep domain expertise as well as exposure to modern machine learning and software development practices, and Andrew fits that description very well.
