2012's Fastest-Growing CG Companies
Three apparel companies and one beverage company comprise the consumer goods (CG) companies that have made it onto this year’s Fortune 100 Fastest-Growing Companies.
The highest CG company on the list is Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, ranking 35th. It actually dropped down considerably from its 2011 spot at number two. Green Mountain is known as much for its K-cups, the pioneering single-serve coffee pods, as it is for its coffee. But it reportedly lost its patent protection for the K-Cups this year.
The remaining three CG companies on the esteemed roster, all apparel makers, are newbies to the list this year.
