Stanley Black & Decker Bolsters Data Quality With PXM Integration
Stanley Black & Decker, the manufacturer of power tool and household appliance brands such as Black+Decker, Stanley, and Dewalt, is investing in improved data processes within its product content operations.
The company partnered with Syndigo to use its product experiment management (PXM) tools to reduce the time it takes to find key product information from days to minutes under a single source of truth data platform. Since the implementation, Stanley Black & Decker has increased its data quality by 60% and improved internal operational efficiency.

AI and Cloud-Based Optimizations
The technology centralizes product data in the cloud, syndicating it across the enterprise and using AI to analyze and optimize performance in real time. The single platform is meant to deliver product content to retailers and the shelf at an expedited pace.
AI co-pilots automate tasks such as copy creation, image analysis, content localization, sentiment analysis, attribute mapping, and natural language search. The AI also flags errors within copy and provides analytics reporting capabilities for performance at the shelf.
The technology includes master data management, product information management, syndication, content optimization, and digital shelf analytics capabilities.
