Post Consumer Brands Hires Greg Pearson as Its Leader

Consumer goods manufacturer Post Consumer Brands has named its next president and chief executive officer

Beginning April 1, Greg Pearson will oversee a portfolio of food and cereal brands such as Pebbles, Honey Bunches of Oats and Honey-Comb.

Rob Vitale, president and CEO for parent company Post Holdings, said Pearson was selected for his experience leading and transforming businesses in grocery and pet, across brands and private label.

Pearson takes over for Nicolas Catoggio, who has transitioned to the role of Post Holdings EVP and COO.

More About Pearson

Pearson brings 25 years of experience across the CPG space. 

He joins Post from Compana Pet Brands, a global pet care and nutrition company based in St. Louis, where he has served as CEO since January 2023. During that time, he oversaw transformation efforts, which included optimizing the company's supply chain, evolving its product portfolio and refocusing its commercial strategy. 

Before that, he served as CEO for a private label and contact manufacturer of pretzels that was ultimately sold to The Hershey Co. in 2021. Additionally, he was head of marketing for Chewy.com and led the company's brand marketing, creative services, private brands and e-commerce product management. 

Pearson has also held several senior leadership and marketing roles with companies such as Conagra Brands and General Mills
