Perry Ellis International has gone live with Oracle Retail Customer Engagement (v17) implementations in the Oracle cloud. The retailer/manufacturer has teamed with systems integrator BTM Global to roll out the platform to approximately 70 stores in the U.S. and U.K.
The project is one of the first to integrate Oracle Retail Point-of-Sale to the Customer Engagement platform. In addition to implementation leadership, BTM Global, a provider of retail system integration and development services, supported end-to-end testing and training. The work included converting and migrating data from a legacy CRM system
With the new system, Perry Ellis hopes to better meet consumer expectations regarding loyalty programs, including exclusive sales offers and early access to new product arrivals. Through a quicker, scalable and more flexible system, PEI can deliver deals consistently across all of sales channels. The platform also provides data allowing the retailer to gain greater intelligence to shape future programs and loyalty offerings.
Perry Ellis chose BTM Global based on its proven success with previous projects and its ability to collaborate with the company's fast-paced culture.
“This project had a tight timeline of three months, but we knew BTM could manage the complexity and speed because of our history of successful work together,” said Sandeep Baghel, director of retail systems for Perry Ellis. “Because this project was one of the first of its kind in the industry, the BTM team’s ability to learn and adapt quickly was invaluable.”
