Bestowed upon an executive who has made the greatest demonstrable impact through the implementation and successful use of new marketing strategies, technologies and/or processes, this year's CMO of the Year winners are The Hershey Company’s Jill Baskin and e.l.f. Beauty’s Kory Marchisotto.

Now in its 10th year, the awards are given to retail CIOs who have demonstrated an innovative use of technology that has moved their retail organization forward. The 2021 winning duo include Vera Bradley Inc. CIO Adam Fox and Ulta Beauty CIO Elliott Rodgers.

Fortune released its ranking of the 10 Best Large Workplaces in Manufacturing and Production, and this year’s list included two consumer goods companies.

It’s entirely fitting that this year’s CGT CIO of the Year winner would be someone who effected great change through digital transformation.
