Procter & Gamble Co. executives are focusing on how consumers buy, experimenting with steps such as one that it just launched in Atlanta called the Tide Wash Club, an online subscription service.
The retailer made a big push into 3,300 stores over the last three weeks to get it done in time for the summer, but Walmart Pay is officially available at Walmart Stores nationwide. Transactions with the mobile payment solution are up 45 percent in the last week.
