Life is good Taps attune for SAP Initiatives
Life is good partners with attune Consulting, which has implemented a number of technology initiatives at Life is good that have helped to strategically support the growth of the business and meet demand for its clothing and accessories in the United States and globally.
“attune is an important business and technology partner for Life is good,” says Kevin Scheeler, director of technology at Life is good. “Their industry knowledge and proven commitment to our business has resulted in the success of several technology initiatives over the last few years. attune has become our go-to partner for major projects related to our SAP AFS implementation.”
Life is good is a lifestyle brand that spreads the power of optimism and helps kids in need through its products and The Life is good Kids Foundation. Life is good products are sold in approximately 3,500 retail stores in the United States. Additionally, the company operates a direct-to-consumer business.
attune initially engaged with Life is good in 2007 to execute the implementation of the SAP Apparel and Footwear (AFS) 6.0 solution. The implementation took 24 weeks – from planning to the go-live date – enabling Life is good to meet peak seasonal demand for its wholesale and online businesses, resulting in a record shipment of products that year. attune also helped to automate the company’s warehouse inventory system, leading to improved visibility, traceability, and accuracy of customer orders across the company and its supply chain.
“attune delivered on what they promised, and we’ve had their consultants onsite every year since to help scope projects and provide the support we need from planning and implementation to the go-live date and beyond,” says Stacey Ireson, applications manager at Life is good.
When Life is good needed to bring its global business onto SAP in 2010, attune helped to establish a third-party warehouse and multi-currency system to facilitate the sale of products in multiple countries. In the last year, Life is good relied on attune to help with its upgrade to SAP AFS 6.5 and provide support for key follow-on projects, including automation of the company’s EDI (electronic data exchange) outbound processes. The result has led to faster, more accurate delivery of shipment information to more than 30 trading partners.
“Life is good is a great example of how we work with our customers,” says Rusty McClintock, vice president of sales and marketing at attune. “We are committed for the long term, and bring our years of experience within fashion and lifestyle to address the unique challenges of each engagement. We greatly value the partnership with Life is good and look forward to ongoing opportunities we have to support their business.”
