Consumer Goods Industry and Innovation Awards Categories

Each year, CGT presents awards to recognize consumer goods companies for excellence in innovation, technology and business strategies. In August 2007, nominations for our 2007 Industry & Innovation Awards were collected from consumer goods executives, industry analysts, industry consultants and technology vendors via a web-based form. These nominations were narrowed down by CGT 's editorial staff based on multiple award criteria, including project challenges and objectives, the resourcefulness used to overcome and/or meet them, benefits since realized and the project's overall relevance to the consumer goods industry, retail partners and the end-consumer. A slimmer nomination list was then sent to and evaluated by CGT 's editorial and research advisory boards for voting. The results of this process appear on the following pages, where you can read about the winners and outstanding achievers across five award categories
