Constellation Brands Names Nicholas Fink President, CEO
Constellation Brands will have a new leader beginning April 13. Nicholas Fink is slated to take over as president and CEO.
Bill Newlands currently holds the title, having served in the position since 2019. He will step down and continue in an advisory role for a few months following the transition.
“Over the past several years, Constellation Brands’ board of directors has engaged in a thoughtful and comprehensive CEO succession planning process, and we are excited to welcome Nick as our next president and CEO,” Constellation Brands board chair Chris Baldwin said in a statement.

He stated that Fink was selected for his "diversified set of leadership experiences" and a deep understanding of Constellation’s business model, as he served as a member of the company's board over the past five years.
"Nick will bring unique perspectives and capabilities that will benefit Constellation and its stakeholders as we position the company for long-term success in a rapidly evolving and hyper-competitive environment,” Baldwin added.

Fink has held several executive leadership roles, bringing a track record of leading public, multi-category businesses, along with experience in the BevAlc industry.
He joins Constellation from Fortune Brands Innovations, a global home, security and digital products company. He rose in rank from SVP of global growth and development to CEO in 2020, according to LinkedIn, accelerating the company's digital transformation. Before that, he spent nine years with Suntory Global Spirits, holding a variety of roles, including president of the Asia Pacific and South America business units and SVP, chief strategy officer.
