Burton Launches New E-Commerce Site

Burton Snowboards, the world's leading snowboarding manufacturer, launches a dynamic new e-commerce site, built on the Demandware eCommerce Platform from Demandware Inc. The new Burton.com provides products, information and inspiration for snowboarding enthusiasts of all levels -- from beginners to the most advanced riders.
 
The site sports a branding experience that is true to Burton's legacy as a leader in snowboarding, by combining both the form and function of Burton's products for consumers online. Burton plans to launch additional sites on Demandware in several other geographies over the next year.

"In order to achieve this, we needed an e-commerce platform that gives us complete creative freedom and the flexibility to extend our site quickly."
 
With a flexible integration and extensible environment, the new site includes multiple integration points, including Bazaarvoice for product ratings and reviews, Rich Relevance for product recommendations, Omniture analytics, Responsys for email, Kontain for community and several others.
