Schick Supports Troops with Donation to the USO

Energizer Holdings' Schick business is donating 640,000 razors to the USO throughout the year. 280,000 Schick's Xtreme3 Comfort Plus Disposable Razors and Quattro For Men System Razors will be distributed to the men and women of the armed forces through The Rocky Mountain USO, Colo., USO El Paso, Texas, USO of North Carolina, USO of Fort Hood, Texas, and USO Delaware centers. The remaining 360,000 razors will be included in Operation USO Care Packages to be distributed to deploying troops, troops arriving and departing on rest and recuperation flights flights, as well as troops in Afghanistan, Iraq and other overseas locations. This donation makes Schick a three-star sponsor of the Operation USO Care Package program. "We are very grateful for all of our armed forces and the freedom they provide day in and day out for this nation. We are proud to be able to work with the USO and support our troops and their families with this donation of razors. Helping our military personnel in this way means a lot to our Schick family of employees," says Ken Shaw, director of Sales for Schick.
