Relational Solutions, Teradata Partner for DSR Solution

Relational Solutions, a software and service company specializing in POS data integration, and Teradata Corporation, a company in enterprise data warehousing, announce a partnership to provide an enterprise demand signal repository (DSR) solution to assist consumer goods companies in delivering the right inventory at the right time to retailers. Consumer products, high-tech and life sciences companies are learning to use DSRs to discover previously unknown patterns in consumer demand, multi-channel inventory sell-through, promotion optimization and overall product profitability.

The Relational Solutions flagship product, POSmart, is a multi-retailer solution that automates the integration and harmonization of POS data with internal data. Teradata combined with POSmart is expected to give customers a scalable demand signal repository, integrate downstream retailer POS data and harmonize it with internal ERP data.
