Reflektion Extends Mobile Experience Solution

Reflektion announces the extension of its web site personalization solution to include mobile optimization. With this extension to Reflektion’s personalization application, mobile users can experience a more personalized and seamless online experience from any tablet or smartphone. One of Reflektion’s first customers, the La Jolla Group’s Metal Mulisha, sees the benefits of the Reflektion mobile optimization, in increased revenues and page views. 

“Most of our shoppers these days are using smartphones and tablets to discover products, so we needed a solution that could provide an outstanding and personalized mobile e-commerce experience,” says Metal Mulisha’s director of e-commerce, Ryan Cropley. “After deploying Reflektion, we were able to identify and then tailor the user experience to each customer. By personalizing the experience we were able to drive up mobile revenue almost 20 percent and dramatically increase mobile page views.”

The Reflektion mobile optimization application utilizes both machine learning and predictive analytics to identify shoppers based on the device they are using as well as a number of past and present behaviors.  Reflektion also incorporates “responsive design” – a technology which helps to allow retailers to provide an optimal viewing experience for the shopper – no matter if the customer is using a smartphone, tablet or desktop/laptop. Additionally, if a user logs into a retailer’s e-commerce site over time from multiple devices, Reflektion will capture that data and learn to recognize the customer – no matter the device the shopper is using.
