The Benefits

Through the implementation, Chervon will be able to better ensure products are available at the right time and place through increased forecast accuracy. Inventory will be dynamically adjusted to align with real-time demand, minimizing issues with stockouts or overstock.

Additionally, the technology will automate routine planning tasks, giving operations a productivity boost. It will support cross-functional collaboration to elevate decision-making across the company.

Chervon expects to elevate the customer experience as a result of responding more quickly to demand fluctuations.

Chervon’s investment follows a trend in consumer goods manufacturing of increasing demand adaptability to better respond to the volatile supply chain environment.

PMI WW Brands’ Stanley 1913, for example, is using similar technology to better keep up with rising demand in viral products and strengthen its supply chain operations.

Chervon is working with Blue Yonder for the effort, supported by Shanghai Compass Information and Science Co., Ltd.
